Greg Smith

Gregory N. Smith – Associate

Gregory Smith joined Margulis Grant & Margulis as an associate attorney in 2009. He graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2006 with a concentration in criminal litigation. Smith was admitted to the Missouri bar in 2006 and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri in 2007.

 Prior to joining Margulis, Grant & Margulis, Smith was an associate attorney at Welby & Ridings, LLC / The Ridings Group, LLC in St. Louis. In addition to his law degree, Smith holds a Master of Forensic Science degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and a bachelor’s degree in biology from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va.

 Trained in STR and mitochondrial DNA analysis platforms, Smith manufactured DNA proficiency tests for laboratories worldwide. He participated on a team that identified MIA/POW remains from past military conflicts using DNA extraction methods, and received the Noble Eagle award for identifying September 11th victims of United Flight 93 in Shanksville, PA, and American Airlines Flight 77 at the Pentagon.
